Union Health Ministry launched SAKSHAM

The Union Health Secretary officially launched the SAKSHAM (Stimulating Advanced Knowledge for Sustainable Health Management) Learning Management Information System (LMIS) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). The National Institute of Health & Family Welfare (NIHFW) in New Delhi developed the online platform.

Rs 1.73 Crore Penalty imposed by RBI On HSBC Bank

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd. (HSBC Bank) was fined Rs. 1.73 crore by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for breaking the Credit Information Companies Rules, 2006. The RBI claimed that after looking over the Risk Assessment Report and other correspondences connected to it, they found that the bank had broken the aforementioned regulations.
