SP Singh Baghel takes charge as MoS Health
On May 19, SP Singh Baghel, a minister of state for law and justice, was appointed minister of health and family welfare. Following his appointment, SP Singh Baghel talked with the media and expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for putting his confidence in him. He also assured people that he would fulfil all of their expectations and take appropriate action. India Launches 'Operation Karuna' To Provide Aid To Myanmar
India started "Operation Karuna" to deliver aid to those in Myanmar who are suffering due to Cyclone Mocha, and three ships bringing supplies arrived in Yangon. The first naval ships to deliver aid to Yangon were the Shivalik, Kamorta, and Savitri of the Indian Navy.
