Viral: 30-Year-Old Photo of Delhi’s New CM Rekha Gupta During The DUSU Oath Ceremony Resurfaces

Viral:  Rekha Gupta has been announced as the new Chief Minister of Delhi making her the fourth woman to take the chair in the capital. On her victory, an old photo of Gupta from her DUSU oath ceremony is getting viral on the internet.  

The photo was shared by Congress leader Alka Lamba who joined Gupta during her oath in their college days. In an X post with the picture, Lamba wrote “This is a memorable picture of the year 1995 when I and Rekha Gupta took oath together. I had won the Delhi University Students Union President post from NSUI and Rekha Gupta had won the General Secretary post from ABVP. Congratulations and best wishes to Rekha Gupta. Congratulations to Delhi on getting the fourth woman Chief Minister and we Delhiites are hopeful. We hope that mother Yamuna will be clean and daughters will be safe.”
