Late on Monday night, a flash fire broke out in five large stores in Delhi's Sarojini Nagar neighbourhood. This fire subsequently grew in size and spread to roughly 20 adjoining Tehbazari establishments. This caused panic to spread. A little after two in the morning, the fire began.
After putting in a lot of effort, the fire tender who arrived at the scene was successful in putting out the fire. This fire event happened at Sarojini Nagar's Bapu Market. As soon as they learned about the fire that started on Monday night, fire tender vehicles were on the scene. Five fire tender units were despatched to put out the fire based on the information. After much effort last night, the fire was subdued by the firefighters. By that time, numerous stalls and four shops were burned down.
