Ekta Kapoor Talks About Women Safety At Workplace In Light of the Hema Committee Report

The Buckingham Murders: Ekta Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor are joining forces for a crime thriller film ‘The Buckingham Murders’ directed by Hansal Mehta. As a women-led film, Ekta was asked to share her take on the Hema Committee report and women’s safety at the workplace. She elaborated the issues as not just an “industry issue” by a “woman’s safety at workplace issue”.

Need for women leadership, responsible men

Ekta Kapoor underscored that women could be empowered by other women stepping into leadership roles to equalize the agency of men and women. Hansal Mehta interjected with his take saying that men need to take onus now, and be more vigil and responsible for the same.
