Elvish Yadav was born as Sidharth Yadav on 14 September 1997 to Ram Avtar Yadav and Sushma Yadav. It is believed his name change was a way of showing respect to his brother who wanted to name him Elvish.
Hailing from Wazirabad, Gurugram he went to Amity International School, Gurgaon, and then pursued a Bachelors’ of Commerce degree from Hansraj College of the University of Delhi.

Elvish Yadav ventured into the field of content creation with YouTube in April 2016 where he started making humorous videos, parodies, roasting videos and flash fiction while also vlogging parts of his life. His YouTube channel named ‘Elvish Yadav’ was earlier called ‘The Social Factory’ and has a reach of 15 million subscribers; his vlog channel ‘Elvish Vlogs’, started in November 2019 where he also critiques movies has a total of 7.83 million subscribers. Elvish also launched a gaming channel ‘Elvish Yadav Gaming’ in May 2023 with 559k subscribers.
He came to the national limelight after winning the reality TV show 'Bigg Boss OTT 2'.
Elvish Yadav Controversies
Snake Venom Case: Elvish Yadav has been arrested in the case of snake venom use in parties. He along with 5 other people was alleged of providing snake venom, including that of Cobra for intoxication and recreational purposes, in the Delhi-NCR party after Meneka Gandhi filed a complaint against him. The complaint by Meneka Gandhi, an animal welfare NGO member and a former union minister, said that Yadav has been procuring Cobra venom and providing it for a rave party. Although he has diminished the allegation, he was arrested on 17 March 2024 for the same.
Elvish-Maxtern Fight: Recently videos of Elvish Yadav beating the Delhi-based content creator Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern surfaced on the internet. The Gurugram Police summoned him for the case’s investigation. However, in another video, he was seen together with Thakur claiming that all is well and resolved between the two.
Publicly Slapping: Elvish Yadav was part of another video controversy where he was seen slapping a man at a restaurant in Jaipur. Later on, defending himself, he revealed the reason for the slap as a provocation from the man who abused him first.
Cozying with Munnawar Faruqui: Elvish Yadav issued an apology for hugging Munawar Faruqi at the Indian Street Premier League. The apology was a result of the right-wing backlash to Elvish for mingling with Faruqi, who seemed to have hurt religious sentiments.
Elvish has been in controversy for roasting people and doing controversial commentaries on fellow influencers and actors. The online community has widely disapproved of his content.
