Pune's startup company Vayve Mobility has claimed to have introduced India's first solar car (EVA). 2 adults and 1 child can sit inside this car. This is a battery-operated single-door car. It looks similar to Tata Nano in size. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
The solar automobile generates 6kW of power using a liquid-cooled PMSM motor. It can be fully charged in 45 minutes thanks to a 14 kWh battery pack, active liquid cooling, four hours of charging on a regular outlet, and rapid charging on CCS2. It is constructed on a monocoque chassis. The driver's airbag and an IP-68-certified powertrain add to the vehicle's safety. The vehicle has a 250km range on a single charge.
The vehicle has a single seat up front and a somewhat larger seat in the back. It has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for connectivity. Next year, Wayway Mobility will introduce EVA in Bangalore and Pune.
