Exclusive: Anil Kapoor & Jitendra Joshi Explain Why 'Thar' is a Different Kind of Film

After his successful OTT debut last year, Anil Kapoor is back with a crime-thriller titled Thar. The film will release on May 6 on Netflix and HerZindagi caught up with the jhakaas actor along with the very talented actor Jitendra Joshi to know more about the film and the experience of shooting in the remotest locations of Rajasthan.

Story of Thar

Set in the 80s, the story of the film revolves around a veteran cop sees the chance to prove himself when murder shakes up a sleepy desert town, sending him into the seedy underbelly of the town as he attempts to uncover a grisly torture plot.

Thar Film Cast

For the unversed, Thar is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language neo-Western action thriller film. The story is  written and directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary and produced by Anil Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor.  The story of the film is inspired by Western noir genres starring Harshvardhan Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Fatima Sana Shaikh
