Mother’s Day Special:  Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of Neetu Kapoor shares her take on motherhood and the drastic shift in the identity of a mother in real and real life. Mothers who were earlier portrayed as timid and sacrificing, are now rational, passionate, and strong. 

“No idea way to be a mother” - Riddhima 

Riddhima elaborated that while popular media may push mothers into a mold, there is no ideal way of motherhood or to be a mother. Mothers of today are ‘wearing many hats’ as Riddhima puts it, managing their roles exceptionally well without compromising on individual identity. As a mother, she has grown up looking at her mother and grandmother, but in modern times she and the mothers around her are also evolving.
