Exclusive: Indian actress and model Gauhar Khan had commenced  her career as a model and was seen in the Femina Miss India contest in 2002. She also did lots of dance numbers and was seen in many reality TV shows. Later she made her acting debut with the Bollywood film Yash Raj Films's Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year in the year 2009. She was also appreciated for her dance number Jhalla Valla in another Yash Raj production Ishaqzaade

 

Gauhar Khan, who has recently appeared in Tandav as Maithili and Mayanka Kapoor in Bestseller, shared about her personal life, Bollywood crush, upcoming projects, Fashion and much more in an exclusive interview with us. Let’s get to know more about it.

 

 

Recently appeared in the Prime Video web show Bestseller in the role of Mayanka Kapoor, she will be seen in many projects this year. She revealed that she has completed the shooting schedule for one film and is still shooting for an ongoing project. She also discussed another OTT show that she has winded up and it will soon release on a leading OTT platform. After 2022, the next 2023 will also bring her on the screen in a lot of projects.

 

 

In the exclusive interview, Gauhar Khan revealed that she genuinely admires Farhan Akhtar as an actor. She feels that he has an authentic and real approach to his work that she finds intense. She disclosed her desire to work with him. She also opened up about her dream to work with the Big B Amitabha Bachchan; she could not keep her excitement and said that if she works with Amitabh Bachcha, she will feel accomplished as an actor and it will satiate her creative desire.

 

 

When we asked Gauhar about her Bollywood crush, she again took the name of Farhan Akhtar. Farhan has recently married the Indian actress & VJ Shibani Dandekar and Gauhar expressed her enthusiasm for the same. She conveyed her wishes for the couple as well.

 

 

 

Gauhar gives the credit to her husband Zaid Dardar. She defines him as her best friend, soulmate and a support system. She reveals that her husband Zaid does not expect much from her and lets her be who she is. She is provided with rough space and support to flourish in her career which aids her to manage her career, work life and personal life very well. She also disclosed that after marriage,  she has become more patient with life.

 

 

On being asked about the social media trolling, she clearly said that she does not pay any attention to the phenomena and it does not exist for her.

 

 

Gauhar Khan, who herself is appreciated for her styling sense, tends to admire the timeless fashionista and Bollywood actress Rekha. She feels that fashion sense is not only about the garment and clothing but more about how one carries it. In the international scenario, she looks up to Jenifer Lopez as she feels J Lo is always so stylish.
