The Indian actress Shivangi Joshi is known for her onscreen character Nisha in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi; Poonam in Begusarai; Naira Singhania Goenka; Sirat Shekhawat Goenka Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Coming from a small town, she has had quite a journey. In an exclusive interview with us, she shared the struggles she faced, and much more. Let’s get to know more about it.




Shivangi's Inspiration: Her Mother 

Shivangi is a popular face of Hindi TV, and she tends to inspire many young girls and women. When we asked Shvaingi about who inspires her, she took the name of her mother. As she hails from a small town, she discussed how her parents, especially her mother, were so supportive of her choice of her career. Her mother took her to Mumbai to support her while she had to make a path for herself. She also shared that her mother still lives with her in Mumbai, while two of her siblings live back in dehradun. She sees her mother as a strong woman and feels proud to be her daughter. She looks up to her strength and takes inspiration from her.


Shivangi on her Struggle Period

In the exclusive interview, the actress Shivanig Josi revealed that when she decided to pursue acting and her parents got her to Mumbai, none of her relatives came in support. Her relatives discouraged her family for the same and cut ties by not talking to them. However, Shiangi now leads a successful career in the Hindi Tv industry and now the relatives not only support her but also want their children to follow her.

Shivangi discussed the onscreen characters played by her, in the interview she said that she shares similar traits with the character of Naira and Anandi. Just like these characters, she also boldly stands up for the right.


Shivangi Joshi’s Journey as an Actor

On being asked about her struggle period and independence, she said that according to her the struggle never ends in an actor's life. Everyday, every project brings its own challenges, so there is nothing like the end of the struggle. However, the actress has established herself in the industry, but she still feels dependent on her mother. She is emotionally dependent on her mother. She also revealed that her mother visits her everyday on her sets and she prefers to have her lunch with her.

On the occasion of Women’s Day, in the exclusive interview Shivangi shared her thoughts on how the scenario in the work atmosphere is changing these days. She feels that in the coming future, things will get even better.Shivangi thinks that the dominance of men in various areas has been reduced and will further tend to decline gradually.

Recalling her school days, she told us that she used to be a tomboy in her school time. She would like to participate in various activities, be it any kind of sports or any other activities, she would always take part in the games and sports and prove her competence.

Shivali talks about the challenges faced by women who want to pursue their dreams. Especially talking about the atmosphere in the small cities, she said that women still lack freedom to pursue acting or any other career where they have to step out of their homes and cities. Shivangi strongly advocates that women from the small town should also be exposed to the challenges and explore with freedom. There should be an equal platform to struggle, both for men and women.

Shivangi reveals that she is mostly working on women's day and if there is an occasion when she is on an off, she likes to spend her time with her mom. She also said that her mother cooks delicious food for her daily, so she tries to cook for her and treat her right whenever she gets a chance.
