Lack of Entertainment To Metrocentric Plots, Film Critic Reveals Why Bollywood’s Movies Flop

Bollywood Update:  Bollywood’s declining state is not concealed from anyone. People are discussing the increase in the number of flop films in the Hindi industry in contrast to the meager sum of good and hit films. Shedding light on the many reasons for Bollywood’s flop movies, a film critic shared his insights. 

Currently, only one out of ten Bollywood films are achieving the box office success they aim for. Breaking the reason behind it, the film critic shares that today the audience is looking for entertaining content and engaging plotlines and most big-budget films are failing to do so. Actors today live in a bubble of social media where they assess their popularity with their followers count whereas the box office numbers do not work in their favour. Directors today are making metrocentric films that cater to a certain audience of a big city, hence the majority of people do not find interest in them. 

Films like Stree 2, Chhaava, and Puhspa 2: The Rise has broken box office records because people found relatable and entertaining content in them, said the critic.
