In India, Hyundai has debuted the Hyundai Verna saloon in a revised configuration. The new avatar receives an ADAS system, a new turbocharged petrol engine, and interior and exterior changes. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
The following-generation Hyundai Verna will be equipped with a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine as well as a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine. In comparison to the NA motor's 113 horsepower and 144 pound-feet of torque, the latter engine—a brand-new T-GDi in the company's lineup—produces 158 horsepower and 253 pound-feet. An IVT, a seven-speed DCT, and a six-speed manual transmission are the three main types of transmissions that are offered. There is no longer a 1.5-liter diesel engine available.
The 2023 Verna comes standard with an electric sunroof, heated and cooled front seats, a fully digital instrument panel and integrated 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automated climate control, Level 2 ADAS, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system. The user may control the AC and infotainment features using the same set of dials and knobs thanks to the availability of a switchable-type climate and infotainment controller.
The company has kept its initial price of 10.89 lakhs. This price goes up to Rs 17.37 lakh for the top variant.
