Foreign guests who came to participate in the G20 conference being held in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, were warmly welcomed at Pantnagar airport under Uttarakhand's Sanskriti Atithi Devo Bhava. At the airport, the women in Kumaoni costumes welcomed the foreign guests by applying Tilak, wearing Pahadi cap and wearing Pichhoda. The Uttarakhandi artists present at the airport welcomed the guests through folk dances and folk songs. At the same time, foreign guests were seen dancing and taking selfies with them. After the reception, everyone was taken to a private hotel in Rudrapur, where they were served Uttarakhandi cuisine. 

A total of 38 delegates from 17 countries have arrived to participate in the G-20 conference held in Ramnagar from March 28 to 30. All the foreign guests looked very happy with the warm welcome at Pantnagar airport. Tilak was applied while making him aware of Kumaoni culture. After this, he was welcomed by wearing a Pahadi cap and the female guests were made to wear a backward. During this, some female guests were seen dancing with the dance team, while some guests were busy taking selfies with the Chholiya artists.

Foreign guests tasted the taste of Uttarakhand's hill dishes

Foreign guests were served local and foreign dishes as well as Uttarakhand's hill dishes like potato chunks, manduve roti, rye raita, bhat chudkani and sweets in the lunch organized at the hotel. Jhangore kheer was served.
