Friday OTT Release:  With the week coming to an end, it is the time to bookmark new shows and films that may pique your interest over the weekend. From the latest shows like Revelations and Kanneda to highly anticipated OTT releases of blockbusters like Oppenheimer and Wicked, here is a list of all shows and films streaming this weekend on Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotSta,r and more.  

Revelations on Netflix

Directed by The Train To Busan fame director Yeon Sang-ho, Revelations is a mystery-thriller about a pastor and a detective who come together because of their individual beliefs to investigate the case of a missing person. The series stars Shin Hyun-been, Han Ji-hyun, and Ryu Jun-yeol. 

Kanneda on JioHotstar 

Set against the context of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in the country that compelled many Sikhs to flee abroad to survive, the show follows a young Sikh guy Nimma who flies to Canada to protect himself but gets tangled in the criminal underworld of Toronto in the 1990s.   

Oppenheimer on Netflix 

Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt starrer Oscar-winning film Oppenheimer is a biological thriller based on the life of physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, often called the "father of the atomic bomb”. The film is helmed by Christopher Nolan. 

Sky Force on Prime Video

With Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya in the lead cast, the film follows the events of India’s deadliest air attack on Pakistan’s Sargodha Airbase. The film follows the search of a Wing commander on the quest for his lost comrade during the attack. 

Wicked on JioHotstar 

Set in the land of Oz, Wicked follows the friendship between a green-skinned girl Elphaba who is shunned for her unique skin, and a popularity-hungry university student Galinda. Directed by Jon M. Chu Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jeff Goldblum, and Michelle Yeoh.
