Rowoon Kdramas:  The recently released Kdrama Destined With You has fans gushing over the sizzling on-screen chemistry of Jo Bo-Ah and Kim Seok-Woo AKA Rowoon, and it has gained a positive review from viewers. The last episode of the fantasy rom-com premiered on October 12, achieving record-breaking ratings. While fans are waiting for the makers to announce the second season, what gained more attention was the charismatic and oomph look of actor and singer Rowoon in the drama. The former SF9 member’s duality in the drama took our breath away! While he totally gave off the cold and hard-to-melt persona, we also got to see some adorable moments between the pair.

Extraordinary You (2019)

The critically acclaimed drama received an excellent response from viewers, and Rowoon emerged as a star in this romantic drama. He was named Best New Actor at the 2019 MBC Drama Awards for his performance. In his first major lead role, Rowoon played the part of Student Number 13 or Ha-ru in Extraordinary You, a supporting character from a comic book who is quiet and reserved. He ends up being Eun Dan-oh’s only hope of escaping the fantasy world and taking control of her own destiny. 

She Would Never Know (2021)

Rowoon portrays Chae Hyun-seung, who works for a cosmetic firm and reports to his obnoxious senior named Yoon Song-Ah (Won Jin-ah). They begin to fall in love while working closely together. Though the drama end up receiving a cold response from the viewers, Rowoon gained a good attention with the show and received appreciation for his immaculting acting skills.

The King’s Affection (2021)

Set in the Joseon period, Rowoon portrays Jung Ji Woon, the royal tutor of Crown Prince Lee Hwi, but little does he know that the person is actually the crown prince’s sister who is disguised as her twin brother after he dies in an accident. Hwi is forced to hide her true identity while pretending to be the Crown Prince. The drama was well-liked by viewers and received the award for best telenovela at the 50th International Emmy Awards, making it the first Korean-language series to do so. Rowoon was named Best Actor as well as Popularity Award at the 2021 KBS Drama Awards.

Tomorrow (2022)

This fantasy drama follows Choi Joon Woong (Rowoon) as he looks for work and encounters two Grim Reapers, Goo Ryeon (Kim Hee Sun) and Lim Ryung Goo (Yoon Ji On). The Grim Reapers hired Joon Woong to join their crisis management squad and assist them in preventing people from committing suicide. In an interview, Rowoon noted that his character was not a hero and that the fascination came in identifying the beauty in the commonplace.
