The two-day meeting of the G-20 group will start from Thursday in Ranchi, amidst constant churning about energy options in the world. 90 delegates are reported to attend the meeting, of which 21 are foreign and the remaining 69 are Indian delegates. All the preparations regarding the summit have been finalized.
Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh himself is monitoring the preparations, while Principal Secretary Ajay Kumar Singh has been separately authorized for this programme. More than a dozen IAS officers have been deployed on various fronts for the successful conduct of the programme.
Preparations have been completed for the meeting of the G-20 group to be held in the capital Ranchi on March 2 and 3. A total of 69 delegates from India are participating in this summit. Apart from this, 21 foreign representatives have also reached.They have been earlier accommodated in various hotels in the city. These representatives will brainstorm on sustainable energy and its use and environment, science and technology and development in Ranchi. The NSG team has also reached Ranchi for the conference.
