Gashmeer Mahajani is an Indian actor who works in films, theatre and television. He is best known for his work in Marathi cinema and Hindi television. Gashmeer was born on 8th June, 1985, in Pune, Maharashtra. He is the son of veteran Marathi actor and director Ravindra Mahajani. Gashmeer completed his education from Abhinava Vidyalaya English Medium High School, and graduated from Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce in Pune.

Gashmeer Mahajani Career
Gashmeer made his acting debut in P. Som Shekar’s Hindi film ‘Muskurake Dekh Zara’ (2010). However, the film received not much recognition, and Gashmeer went on to work at Mumbai’s Prithvi Theatre, where he acted and directed in a variety of roles. Gashmeer made his regional Marathi film debut in 2015 with the popular film ‘Carry On Maratha’, in which he played “Maartand” opposite actress Kashmira Kulkarni. In the same year, he starred in another Marathi film, ‘Deoold Band’, as “Dr. Raghav Shastri”, which helped him gain popularity.

In 2016, he played “Raghu” in ‘Kanha’ and “Aditya Rane” in ‘One Way Ticket’. In addition, he played “Raja” in Bollywood movie ‘Dongri Ka Raja’. In 2017, he appeared as “Ajay” in ‘Mala Kahich Problem Nahi’. He appeared in the 2018 crime horror show ‘Anjaan: Special Crimes Unit’, an Indian paranormal investigative series that aired on Discovery Jeet. In 2019, he appeared as “Sardar Jankoji Shinde” in the historical film ‘Panipat’. In 2020, he played “Aditya Deodhar” in ‘Bonus’. He later made his online debut with SonyLIV’s ‘Shrikant Bashir’, an action drama series. From 2020 to 2022, Mahajani appeared in ‘Imlie’ as “Aditya Kumar Tripathi,” one of his most famous roles, alongside Sumbul Touqueer Khan and Mayuri Deshmukh.

In 2022, he appeared in and as “Vishu,” alongside Mrinmayee Godbole. Following that, he appeared in ‘Sarsenapati Hambirrao’, playing both “Shivaji I” and “Sambhaji.” He also appeared as a contestant on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, where he finished fourth. He was a judge on Zee Marathi’s Maharashtra Dance L’il Masters. In 2023, he appeared as “Armaan Oberoi” in Colors TV’s serial ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’. The actor is preparing for his upcoming web series ‘Gunaah’, co-starring Surbhi Jyoti, which will premiere on June 3.
