Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed the meeting of foreign ministers of G-20 countries going on in New Delhi. In his address, Narendra Modi, referring to the Ukraine war, has said that global governance has completely failed. Addressing the Foreign Ministers, he said that at present there is a period of division and differences going on in the whole world. He hoped that better results would come out of the meeting.
In one of his recorded messages, PM Modi said, "For the last few years, we are facing difficulties like financial crisis, climate change, pandemic, terrorism and war which clearly shows that global governance has failed."
PM Modi further said, 'We are meeting at a time of deep global division. We all have our own position and our own perspective on how these differences can be resolved. However, as the leading economies of the world, we also have a responsibility towards countries that are not members of the G-20.
