Google and HP Join Hands to Manufacture Chromebook in India at Cheaper Rates

Chromebook Price: Companies used to primarily focus on selling goods in India, but today they are also focusing on production in the country. In support of the government’s Make in India initiative, digital giant Google has announced a collaboration with HP to produce PCs and laptops in India. Both companies will produce Chromebook computers here.

Laptops at Cheap Prices

The Make in India initiative for Chromebooks is expected to help HP get orders from government schools. In addition, HP plans to compete with the 9-inch tablet market with its 11-inch Chromebook. Given that Chromebooks are low-cost hardware, the price will stay competitive even with Make in India. These gadgets will be built at HP’s Flex plant in Chennai, where laptops and desktop computers have previously been produced.
