Google has taken a big step towards entering into the space sector. Google has made the first investment in the space sector in India. This investment has been made in Bengaluru's spacetech startup Pixxel, which is worth $ 36 million i.e. around Rs 300 crore. Let us tell you that in December last year, Google CEO Sundar Pichai had indicated this in Google For India 2022. He had said that in the coming days, Google will invest around $ 300 million in emerging startups in India.
In this funding round, spacetech startup Pixel has not only received investment from Google, but many other investors have also invested in it. Apart from Google, Radical Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Blume Ventures, growX, Sparta and Athera Venture Partners have also invested in it. Pixel has told in one of its blog posts that with the help of this money it will help in making advanced satellite (hyperspectral satellite constellation).
