Gold Rates: Govt Announces Third Installment of Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, Here’s How to Avail
Gold Schemes: If you also want to buy gold at cheaper rates, then there is a good news for you. Under the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, the government will be announcing its next installment in December and February. One tranche of Sovereign Gold Bonds will be issued by the government in December, and another in February. Previously, subscriptions for the Gold Bond Scheme Series 1 and Series 2 were accepted from June 19 to June 23 and September 11 to September 15, respectively.

On December 18 of this month, the government will announce the third tranche of the Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB Scheme) for the fiscal year 2023–2024. People can purchase gold during this for five days till December 22. With this scheme, the government permits purchasing gold at a significant discount to the market price. Additionally, the financial year's fourth installment is scheduled to open in February of the following year on the 12th or 16th.
