Government approves Nasal Vaccine amidst the sound of 4th wave of Coronavirus

Amidst the wave of Corona in China, the government has already become alert to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in India. Taking an important decision, a day after PM Modi's Corona review meeting, the government has approved the Intranasal Covid vaccine. This nasal vaccine of Bharat Biotech has been allowed to be used as a booster dose from today itself.

What is Nasal vaccine

The name of this nasal vaccine of Bharat Biotech is iNCOVACC. This vaccine has been made jointly by Bharat Biotech and Washington University of America and it has proved effective in three phase trials. This is the reason that amid the threat of Corona, it will now be included in the Co-Win portal. The virus mostly enters your body through the nose. This vaccine makes your immune system make proteins in your blood and in your nose so that you can easily fight the virus. Its effect starts in your body after about two weeks. 

Union Health Minister gave this statement

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will hold a meeting with Health Ministers of States and Union Territories today regarding the rising cases of COVID-19 in some parts of the world. Mandaviya made a statement on India's preparedness taking suo moto cognizance in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. Mandaviya said, 'We are constantly monitoring the situation. There is no direct flight between China and India, but people come by other routes.
