The nation mourns as Gp Capt Varun Singh the sole survivor of the chopper crash passed away today in the Bengaluru Command Hospital.
Gp Captain Varun Singh's condition was told to be critical. He was amongst the 14 members in the chopper crash in which CDS Bipin Rawat lost his life. All the 14 members who were in the chopper crash have lost their lives.
Indian Air force has given the official statement about this news.
IAF is deeply saddened to inform the passing away of braveheart Group Captain Varun Singh, who succumbed this morning to the injuries sustained in the helicopter accident on 08 Dec 21. IAF offers sincere condolences and stands firmly with the bereaved family.
