Har Ghar Tiranga: PM Modi Appeals To People To Upload Selfie with Tricolor, Know How

On August 15th, the country will commemorate its 77th anniversary of independence. All arrangements have been made for the hoisting of the national flag and the programme at Delhi's Red Fort. In honour of Independence Day, Delhi's security has been strengthened. Prime Minister Narendra Modi advised all Indians to change their social media DPs to the tricolour on Sunday (August 13) in a post on his X profile (previously Twitter). PM Modi has encouraged citizens to contribute images with the tricolour to the harghartiranga.com website from August 13 to 15 in support of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' movement.

PM Modi said on his X handle, "Looking at the spirit of the Tricolour movement in every house, let us change the DP of our social media accounts and support this unique effort which is the bond between our beloved country and our country."

How to Upload Selfies?

On the Har Ghar Tiranga website, citizens can upload a selfie with the National Flag. Here's how to upload your selfie with the flag to the Har Ghar Tiranga website. 

• To begin, go to the website and click on the 'Upload Selfie with Flag' button. This option is only available on the website's homepage.

• A pop-up window will display. You must write your name here.

• Submit your Tiranga selfie.

• Select the 'Submit' button. Please keep in mind that you will need to give permission for the name and photographs on harghartiranga.com. Only then will your photo be uploaded.

You can also use the page to look for your tricolour selfie. If your selfie show does not take place, you will be able to see it on August 16, 2023, at 8:00 a.m.
