Let's compare the two newly launched motorcycles, the Harley Davidson X440 and The Bajaj Triumph Speed 400. Let's see which is the better choice for you.
The 440cc, single-cylinder, oil and air-cooled, two-valve engine in the new Harley-Davidson X440 produces 27 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The top-spec model comes with a slew of high-end features, such as diamond-cut alloy wheels, Bluetooth, and 3D branding. Because of the Bluetooth module, the top model now provides turn-by-turn navigation. Some of the stylistic traits shared by the entire line are a single-pod instrument cluster, a flat handlebar, a side-slung exhaust, machined alloy wheels and retro-style round indicators.
A brand-new 398.15cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine powers the Speed 400. When combined with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch, it produces 40PS at 8000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6500rpm. Triumph offers a significant 16,000km service interval on the Speed 400. The quoted mileage is 28.3 kilometres per gallon. The Triumph Speed 400 features modern LED lighting, fashionable bar-end mirrors, switchable traction control, and Bosch dual-channel ABS. While it lacks smartphone connectivity and navigation, its semi-digital instrument cluster provides plenty of information, including a gear position indicator, distance-to-empty readout, and useful warning lights. It also includes a USB-C port for charging electronic devices that are installed on the handlebars.
X440 price starts at Rs. 2,29,000 in India with top variant price starting from Rs. 2,69,000. The Triumph Speed 400 is priced at Rs 2,33,000(ex-showroom Delhi).
