What is Haryana Aapki Beti Humari Beti Yojana?

Many schemes are started from time to time by the state government regarding the education of daughters. Aapki Beti Humari Beti Yojana has been started for the daughters of Haryana. This scheme was started in the year 2015. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 21000 will be provided to all those girls of Haryana who are born on or after January 22, 2015. This financial assistance will be provided to them on completion of 18 years of age. Apart from this, if another daughter is also born in the family, then she will be provided financial assistance of ₹ 5000 for 5 years. The objective of this scheme is to reduce the ratio between boys and girls and to prevent crimes like feticide.

Benefits and Features of Aapki Beti Humari Beti Yojana

Under Haryana Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Yojana, an amount of ₹ 21000 will be provided to the first daughter of the family on completion of 18 years.
Financial assistance of ₹ 5000 will be provided every year for 5 years to the second daughter of the family.
Citizens of Haryana will be able to take advantage of this scheme.
To take advantage of this scheme, the beneficiary will have to apply.
All those people who are economically weak or belong to Scheduled Castes, Tribes can take advantage of the scheme.
Daughters born on or after January 22, 2015 can take advantage of this scheme.
The amount of this scheme will be deposited in Indian Life Insurance till the daughter turns 18 years.
Through Aapki Beti Humari Beti Yojana 2023, there will be a change in the negative thinking of people about girls.
Feticide will also decrease.
There will also be equality in the number of girls as compared to boys.
