The 2023 Honda City makeover has finally been released by the automaker Honda. There will be four trim levels of this vehicle: SV, V, VX, and ZX. Both of Honda's engines have been modified to comply with the E20 and Real Driving Emission (RDE) standards. Also, the diesel engine that was initially planned has been dropped. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
A 1.5-liter, four-cylinder NA petrol engine and a 1.5-liter petrol engine coupled with a hybrid motor will both be available for the new Honda City. The former is equipped with either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT and is capable of producing 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. In contrast, the petrol engine in the hybrid version produces 97 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque, while the hybrid motor provides 107 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque. Only an e-CVT unit is compatible with this setup.
The Honda Sensing suite (ADAS), wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new interior motif, ambient lighting, and rain-sensing wipers are some of the sedan's standout features. Other noteworthy features include an electric sunroof, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a seven-inch coloured MID. Five people can fit in the model's seats.
Honda City price ranges between ₹ 13.46 Lakh - ₹ 18.63 Lakh depending on the variant selected.
