DIY Compact and Loose Powder:

Not everyone likes loose powder, Some people find it spreading more. The good thing is, you can turn loose powder into a compact or pressed powder with a few simple steps. All you need are a few simple things, like a little rubbing alcohol and a good quality compact powder.

Steps Of Making Compact Powder 

 

Find the right container

Mostly we'd recommend using an old, cleaned compact or a new one, but you can also use a pillbox, flat plastic container. All you have to do is make sure that the container you use is clean and dry.

Use a paper towel 

Be sure to lay the paper towel down where you plan to make your powder. This makes it easier to clean up later, even if you spill a little powder.

Pour the loose powder into a bowl

The amount is up to you, but if you don't want to use loose powder at all, you can use it all up, as long as the container you're using should have room.

Add a drop or two of isopropyl or rubbing alcohol

After adding these, mix with a toothpick, a spoon, or whatever else you want to use until you get a creamy texture. Aim to make a thick paste. Make it as smooth as possible, although making it smooth is a bit tricky.

Transfer the paste to the powder compact

using a spoon or other object, transfer the finished paste from the bowl to the compact container, and press as tightly as possible to set it well in the container. 

Cover with tissue paper or a piece of paper towel

This will allow the paper towel to leave its mark on the powder; You might like that pattern, and the best part is that it won't affect the quality of your powder. 

Leave to dry

Leave the powder on for 24 hours completely. In the meantime do not remove the paper layer from there. Once completely dry, the compact powder is now ready to use. Now you don't need to lose powder as you can convert it into a compact of your choice.
