Hyundai Motor India has revealed the updated model 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift launch date of its very special sub-compact SUV Venue. Along with this, the company has also revealed the first look of the new Venue, in which all the exterior details of this SUV have been known. The new Venue to recap would be launched on the 16th of this month and would be given a new interior with added new features. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
Hyundai has made some changes to the feature list of the 2022 Venue. It will come with support for Google Voice Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Bluelink connected car features with more than 60 features. Using the voice command assistant, you can check the idle time alert, remote control climate, remote unlock/lock door, check vehicle status, tyre pressures, find your car, check the fuel level, speed alerts, and time fencing alert. Moreover, the rear seat now gets a two-step recline function.
Up front, the Venue gets an all-new front bumper and grille with dark chrome treatment. The overall design of the Venue facelift’s grille mimics the one seen on the refreshed Hyundai Palisade flagship SUV sold overseas. The front bumper sees styling tweaks too and now gets a wider and more prominent-looking faux skid plate. The Venue facelift continues with a split headlamp design as before, but the upper lighting elements featuring the turn indicators have been made to look like an extension of the grille itself.
In profile, things are expected to remain more or less similar, except for the alloy wheels and wheel caps that get a new look, depending on the variant. More styling changes are seen at the back where the Venue facelift gets a completely redesigned tail-lamp, now connected by an LED light bar, much like its sibling Kia Sonet. The tailgate design and the rear bumper get minor design alterations as well.
The Hyundai Venue facelift will continue with the existing powertrain options.The 1.2-litre petrol generates 82bhp and 114Nm torque while the 1.0-litre turbo petrol mill puts out 118bhp and 172Nm torque.The 1.5-litre diesel derivative has an output of 99bhp and 240Nm of peak torque.The Venue gets multiple transmission options such as a five-speed manual, iMT, and a DCT unit.

Hyundai is expected to price it at a premium over the outgoing model that, closer to its discontinuation, retailed between Rs 7.11 lakh and Rs 11.84 (ex-showroom Delhi).
