Many important changes have been made in the new Hyundai Venue. While engine and gearbox options are available as before. The new Venue facelift SUV is set to give a tough competition to the popular cars in the sub-compact SUV segment. The 1.0 liter petrol variant starts at Rs 7.53 lakh and the turbo petrol variant has a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh. The new Venue diesel is available at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh.
Hyundai Venue Performance
Hyundai has not made any changes to the engine of the new Venue. It will be offered with the same 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine as before, along with 1.0-litre Turbo GDi and 1.2-litre MPi Kappa petrol engine options. Transmission options will continue to be 6-speed manual or IMT as well as DCT gearbox. The 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. More powerful than this is the turbo motor which generates 120 PS and 172 Nm of torque. While the diesel engine generates 100 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque. The turbo petrol engine is mated to a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox and 7-speed DCT unit, while the diesel engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza
New technology has been introduced in the new Brezza with features like 6 airbags and electric sunroof. The new Brezza 2022 is being pre-booked for Rs 11,000 both online and across dealerships. The new model of the SUV will come with a much better design and interior as well as a more fuel efficient engine. The company has introduced it at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 7.99 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza Performance
The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza will be powered by an updated 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that also powers the XL6 and Ertiga. This motor develops 101 bhp of power and 136.8 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters. It may also come with a sunroof for the first time. That is, with these changes, the new Brezza will be premium compared to the current model.
