In conversation with Diwanshu Gambhir aka Pampi from Dunki, sharing his experiences on set with Shahrukh Khan

Diwanshu Gambhir: This actor won waves of laughter from his audience with his comic timing and contagious humor as Pampi in SRK’s Dunki. Diwanshu Gambhir shares anecdotes of the time when he shared the screen with King Khan. His experience to put it plainly for pure fun and homely in the presence of Shahrukh Khan. 

Gambhir’s experience with SRK 

Prompted to talk about the Delhite Shahrukh, Diwanshu revealed that SRK still possesses the swag and edge of a true Delhi resident which is very subtle, and probably only a Delhite could sense it. However, he is a very gregarious individual and makes one feel at home, as everyone who ever interacted with the king of romance would second.

Sharing a funny yet very cute incident Gambhir also divulged to the time he had a teeth injury during the shoot, which required immediate medical assistance. Reminiscing the incident he recalled, ‘Raju sir’ Rajkumar Hirani, the director of Dunki had urged him to share the news of the injury with Shahrukh whose ability to make one comfortable led to Gambhir and Khan having an intense conversation about whether or not to undergo a root canal.            

Gambhir is still a child at heart, who enjoys cartoons and draws inspiration from them for his character sketches.
