Income Tax News: The Income Tax Department is now looking into Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu’s house and other assets. The Income Tax Department began raids on Boudh Distillery and its promoters on December 6 in a tax evasion case. During the raid on Dheeraj Sahu’s house on Radium Road in Ranchi, including West Bengal and Orissa, Rs. 351 crore in cash was recovered. The I-T Department team is now investigating every corner of the house, as well as the treasures buried under the house.
The raid was carried out in connection with the Sahu Group, which was accused of tax evasion. The cash was kept in 176 bags by the officials. The Income Tax Department is also looking into whether there is any gold, jewelry, or metal buried beneath Dheeraj Sahu’s house. Dheeraj Sahu’s family is said to be involved in a large liquor manufacturing business, and he owns many such factories in Odisha. Meanwhile, following the recovery of the large sum of money, Congress seems to be avoiding any kind of contact with Dheeraj Sahu.
