India-Canada Row: After Canada’s repeated provocations, India has taken a tough stand and called for the country’s diplomat to be summoned to New Delhi in order to express its disapproval of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's recent actions. Diplomatic ties have been further strained as India has criticized the Canadian government's attempts to include it in the investigation of the death of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Najjar. India dismissed the accusations made against its diplomats on Monday, claiming them as false and only a part of Trudeau's political strategy to win over people.
The Canadian Prime Minister has constantly accused India of murdering its citizen, Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, despite multiple requests from India, the Canadian government has yet to share any evidence with the Indian government. The ministry claims that Prime Minister Trudeau’s actions demonstrate a well-planned effort to discredit India for political gain under the guise of an investigation.
