Indian smartphone exports are set to cross $10 billion (over Rs 82,000 crore) in fiscal 2023, according to new industry data. Hailing as a global success story, the country has witnessed a stupendous growth rate in mobile phone manufacturing. In Budget 2023, it was revealed that the production of mobile phones in the country has increased from 5.8 crore units in 2014-15 worth about Rs 18,900 crore to 31 crore units worth over Rs 2,75,000 crore in the last financial year.
