Indian Army NCC Special Entry Recruitment COURSE (OCT 2021): Salary up to Rs 56,100, Know full application procedure

Indian Army has invited applications for NCC special entry scheme for the 50th course. ‘Applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female (including Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel), for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army.’ Officials have published the recruitment notification for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 50th course (October 2021) Short Service Commission (NT) on joinindianarmy.nic.in. The interested and eligible candidates can submit their application by filling the form available on the official portal of the Indian Army before July 15.

Total Vacancies 

In total 50 vacancies for male candidates and 5 vacancies for women, candidates are available in the recruitment drive. The selected candidates will be posted in the Indian Army for 14 years including 10 years of the initial period of 10 years and 4 years of extension. 


Age Limit

As per the official notice age limit for For NCC candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties) is ‘19 to 25 years as on 01 Jul 2021 (born not earlier than 02 Jul 1996 and not later

than 01 Jul 2002; both dates inclusive)’.

The last date to submit your application is July 15, 2021.

Eligibility 

Candidates with graduation degree in any subject and NCC 'C' certificate with the minimum of two to three years of service in Senior Division/Wg of NCC. NCC cadets should have obtained a minimum of 'B' Grade in their  'C' Certificate Exam of NCC.


Selection process


Selected candidates will be detailed for Pre-Commission training at OTA, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. ‘Candidates will be put through two-stage selection procedures. Those who clear Stage I will go to Stage II. Those who fail in stage I will be returned on the same day. Duration of SSB interview is five days, ‘ as stated by the Indian Army.

  • Fixed Stipend for Cadet Training Stipend to Gentlemen or Lady Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service Academies i.e. during the training period at OTA.  (As stated by Indian Army)

  • On the homepage, click on the highlight reading ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ tab under ‘Officer Selection’. (click here)

  • You will be redirected to a new page where you have to click on new registration. (Registration Information)

  • Add all the required details and recheck before submitting. (Registration Form)

  • Next, proceed to the application link.

  • A new page with ‘Officers Selection - Eligibility’ will be displayed

  • Click on the application link shown against Short Service Commission NCC course

  • Fill in all the details and submit the Indian Army NCC application form

  • Preview the details and click on submit. Download the copy for your future reference.

The selected candidates will undergo training for 49 weeks at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai Tamil Nadu. They will also get a monthly stipend of Rs 56,100 during the entire training period at OTA.
