Ustad Rashid Khan 

Ustad Rashid Khan was a renowned playback singer from the Rampur-Sahaswan Gharana of Uttar Pradesh. He has lent his voice to some popular Hindi films like Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, Hate Story 2, Raaz 3, Mausam, My Name Is Khan, and Jab We Met. Suhani Bhatnagar 

Dangal famed Suhani Bhatnagar known to play the young Babita Phogat in the sports drama film succumbed to dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory disease on 16 February 2024  as a mere 19-year old at Delhi’s AIIMS.

A recognizable face on television, films, and the web, Indian actor Rituraj Singh died due to cardiac arrest on 19 February 2024 in Mumbai. The 59-year-old has been known for shows like Criminal, Abhay, Bandish Bandits, and Never Kiss Your Best Friend. 

Ameen Sayani 

The 91-year-old veteran radio presenter, Ameen Sayani left the world on 20 February 2024. Popular for hosting the show ‘ Binaca Geetmala’, Sayani boasted of presenting more than 54,000 radio programs and 19,000 jingles. 

Kumar Sahani 

Indian director and screenwriter behind renowned films like Maya Darpan, Tarang, Khayal Gatha, and Kasba, Kumar Sahani passed away at the age of 83 in Kolkata due to age and health-related complications. 

Pankaj Udhas 

The iconic gazal and playback singer, who popularised the genre in the new generation, Pankaj Udhas took his last breath on 26 February 2024 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to prolonged illness.
