Sunidhi Chauhan Shocking Revelation: Bollywood famous singer Sunidhi Chauhan has recently revealed that she quit the singing reality show Indian Idol as a judge because she was tired of following the makers of the show. She revealed that she was asked to appreciate and praise the contestants on the set of Indian Idol.  Sunidhi Chauhan has been a judge of Indian Idol for the fifth and sixth seasons. Following the recent controversies around the show, now she has spoken about the same. 

Earlier, RJ and singer Amit Kumar claimed that he was asked to praise the contestants, irrespective of his opinion when he came on the show as a guest judge. The special episode was dedicated to his father Kishore Kumar.


Sunidhi Chauhan’s revelation 

Sunidhi Chauhan said in an interview on Sunday that, “It is not that everybody has to do it but yes we are told to appreciate them and it was a very normal thing. That is why I could not do it. I could not do what they wanted. And I left the show. That's why today I don't judge the show.' When asked why the producers wanted this, she said, 'This is done to get the attention. It is necessary to do so. It also works.

Amit Kumar had earlier said, 'I did what I was told. I was told to appreciate everyone. I was told to praise anyone who sings because this show is a tribute to Kishore Kumar.' He also said that he only followed the rules due to his father being tributed.
