Indian Railways:

Most of the Shatabdi trains became inoperational during the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in India will soon be back on track. These trains were initially canceled considering the low passenger footfall during the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic, because of the various restrictions imposed in different parts of the country.

However, the officials have stated that since the Covid-19 cases in the country have gone down, and the restrictions have been lifted, the passenger footfall has started increasing gradually, and hence, various trains are being run again, as the special trains.

These Shatabdi trains being operational again will prove to be a relief for the passengers going to Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand. Due to the Shree Shakti Express being non-operative, passengers going for Darshan of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi were facing problems, but now, the same will be resolved.
