Edteck Startups: In the latest episode of Start-up Talkies, we'll meet Tarun Saini, a middle-class entrepreneur who made a 100-crore edtech technology company “Vidyakul.” Saini will discuss his journey, the challenges he encountered, the strategies he employed, and the lessons he learned while planning and growing his business. This episode will inspire anyone who wants to start their own business, particularly those with backgrounds like Saini’s, by showing that success in the start-up world is possible with dedication, effort, and new ideas.
Tarun Saini is the co-founder and CEO of Vidyakul, India's first e-learning application. Founded in 2019, the platform offers courses and video lectures to students in grades 9 through 12 from three state boards: Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Gujarat. The app allows students to watch video lessons, download handwritten notes as PDFs, access ebooks, take mock tests, solve sample question papers, and participate in daily quizzes. They can also ask questions and receive immediate assistance from an AI bot named Drona, providing a classroom-like atmosphere.
