CRISIL Issues Report

According to a report produced by global analytics firm CRISIL on growing inflation, the prices of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food in Indian kitchens have grown dramatically. Overwhelming, it has been thoroughly stated in this report. According to a Crisil analysis, the veg plate has increased in price by 34%. At the same time, the non-veg plate has increased in price by 13%. 

According to the Crisil research, rising tomato costs are the primary cause of the more expensive dish. The plate has grown three times more expensive due to soaring tomato costs in July. The reason for the 34% increase in the price of veg thali is because of tomatoes. In July, tomato prices soared by 233 percent. In July, the price of tomatoes soared from Rs 33 per kg to Rs 110 per kg. Aside from that, the prices of onions and potatoes have risen. Onions have increased in price by 16%, while potatoes have increased by 9%.
