5 Easy Face Yoga Exercises To Have A Chiseled And Glowing Look

Face Yoga: We hit and try a gazillion of products to get a glowing and chiseled face. Face yoga is an easy, doable, and long-term process you can invest in to get a similar result without making a hole in your pocket for expensive face sculpting products or equipment.  

What is face/facial yoga? 

Our face has as many as 43 muscles that need regular movements for smoother functioning and lymphatic drainage. Face yoga is a method of involving your facial muscles in massages and exercise techniques to stimulate the facial muscles, skin, and lymph of the face area. Like any other yoga, face yoga includes stretches, moving and relaxing them to remove tension and attain a sculpted face. 

5 Easy Face Yoga Exercises 

If you are a beginner try these easy face yoga exercises to bring the glow and form of your face back. 

Pucker Up or The Pout   

If doing away with wrinkles around your lips is on your list, this exercise is for you. For this exercise, you have to make a fully stretched-out pout and hold the position for around 30 seconds. The pose has to be repeated four to five times for 2-4 minutes for best result. 

The benefits of this exercise include firm lips and reduced wrinkles around the lips or mouth.

Fish Face 

Involving your cheek muscles, fish face exercise requires you to suck your cheeks inwards forming pouty lips like that of a fish. Hold the position for 30 seconds with your eyes wide open, and repeat it for four to five times. 

Ballon Puff Up Cheek

Work out your cheek muscles with this exercise that requires you to breathe through your mouth, and fill the cheeks with air to stretch the muscles there. You can imagine blowing air into a balloon and then hold that pose for as long as you can. 

Forehead Lifter

Take your fingers for this one and place them on your forehead spread out between your eyebrows and hairline while gently applying pressure with the fingers and sweeping them outwards. Repeat the exercise 10 times to reduce forehead lines and have a smoother forehead. 

Neck & Jaw Stretch 

Tilt your face upward slightly looking at the ceiling with your chin up and forward at 45 degrees, holding it for three seconds before returning back. Repeat twenty times for a stretched jaw and neck.

Face yoga is an easy and safe way to tone your face without exposing them to any damaging products and equipment. However, as a cautionary measure ensure you perform all the exercises without squirting or scrunching your face. If you suffer from any ailment in your neck or face consult a doctor before performing any of the mentioned exercises.
