Israel-Hamas War News: Amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, the devastation and destruction is beyond imagination. In another major attack on Gaza’s Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, thousands of lives were lost in the massive bombing attack. Around 500 people are claimed to have died due to the hospital attack, further worsening the war and many countries opposed the attack, including the World Health Organisation (WHO). In one of its statements, WHO asked the Israeli military to remove the hospital evacuation order and urged urgent effective protection of people and health care.
The Al Ahli Arab Hospital is one of Gaza’s oldest and largest hospitals, providing medical services to all people regardless of their political or religious background. The explosion devastated the hospital, and many of its staff and patients are reported to have died. According to the hospital’s director, the facility needs immediate humanitarian assistance and repair in order to continue serving the patients. According to health officials in Hamas-ruled Gaza, the blast killed 500 people and was triggered by Israeli airstrikes. However, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) denied the claims and blamed the Palestine Militants for a failed rocket launch.
