Israel-Hezbollah War: Protests Erupt in Kashmir After Israeli Army Confirms Hezbollah Chief’s Death

Israel-Hezbollah War: Protests erupted in Badgam, Jammu Kashmir, following the death of Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah. During the protest, many people, including women and children, carried portraits of the Hezbollah chief. Similar protests erupted in Srinagar's old city and other parts of the state after Israel reported the death of the terrorist organization's 64-year-old commander. 

Mehbooba Mufti Halts Campaign

Following Nasrallah’s death, his cousin Hashim Safieddin was proclaimed Hezbollah's leader. Hundreds of demonstrators protested Nasrallah’s death and Israel in Kashmir. Even PDP head Mehbooba Mufti postponed her election campaign on Sunday because to widespread demonstrations. At the same time, the administration has strengthened security in Srinagar's Shia-dominated areas, and anti-Israel rallies have already taken place in the Alamgiri Bazaar and Lal Bazaar areas.
