Israel-Hamas War Updates: The surprising attack of the Hamas Militant Group breached the tough security shield of Israel, the Iron Dome. With a continuous launch of over 5,000 missiles in just 20 minutes, the war has already claimed many lives from both Israel and Gaza. The conflict has also affected the global market, including the tech sector. Many big tech companies including Microsoft, Alphabet, Wipro, Intel, and Google have established their offices in Israel, and the investment of these companies contributes at a large scale to the country’s economy.

IT Companies Affected By Israel-Hamas War

Intel was the first multinational corporation to establish operations in Israel and is the country’s largest private employer and exporter. Having said that, the company stated that this war has not affected its chip production. As Israel’s high-tech economy has risen dramatically in recent decades, the investment of these firms in Israel may be considerably impacted. The information technology sector employs 14% of people in Israel, accounting for about a fifth of the country’s GDP.
