Kpop Charts: ‘Good Day’ singer IU tops the chart of the ‘Most Streamed Songs in the first 24 hours of release’ on MeIOn. IU’s pre-released song ‘Love Wins All’ was on top of Melon’s Top 100 streaming chart an hour after its release. Per her agency EDAM Entertainment, the song has become the fastest song by a female artist to top the chart since its system renewal in August 2021. Second only to IU’s ‘Love Wins All’ is ‘Way For Love’ by Plave.
Next in line with IU, is the Korean virtual boy band securing positions from second to sixth with five of their songs. In second place is ‘WAY 4 LUV’ with 1,305,300 streams, followed by ‘Watch Me Woo!’ with 1,196,000 streams so far; not far behind on number four is Plave’s ‘Virtual Idol’ at 1,177,800 streams, accompanied by ‘Our Movie’ with 923,600 streams and ‘From’ with 917,100 streams at number five and six respectively.
While Plave dominates the list, IU is only at number two in ruling the charts with two of her songs ‘Shopper’ and ‘Holssi’ at seventh and eighth position with 774,800 and 717,800 streams respectively.
The chart features ‘Love’ by RIIZE on number 9 with 119 648,700 streaming in the first 24 hours, along with Lessarafim’s ‘Easy’ with 515,100 streams.
MeIOn has also announced the most streamed albums in the last 24 hours of releases in 2024 so far, and it looks like Plave and IU are not leaving this chart anytime soon. A new entrant in the list is NCT Dream.
