James Comey’s Controversial '8647' Instagram Post Receives Massive Backlash; What Does It Mean?

US News:  A seemingly harmless post by former FBI director James Comey has stirred controversy across the United States and brought severe backlash to him. 

In a now-deleted post, Comey posted an image of the number ‘8647’ from a beach made from pebbles and seashells. 

Soon after his post, social media buzzed, reading between the lines of Comey’s post, accusing him of calling for the assassination of US President Donald Trump.

In American slang, 84 means to eliminate or eject, and 47 was decoded as the 47th president of the US, implying the elimination of Donald Trump, who dismissed the FBI director during his first term.
