Jammu-Kashmir News: Encounter Between Terrorists and Security Forces in Kupwara During Search Operation

Jammu-Kashmir News: There has been an encounter between security personnel and terrorists in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists fired on security forces during a search operation in Kupwara district’s Rajwada forest. According to the reports, one or two terrorists remain trapped in the area.

Encounter During Kupwara Search Operation

SOG Handwara conducted a search operation in Krumbhura area of Jachaldara in Kupwara district after receiving information on terrorists. The search operation turned into an encounter when militants opened fire on security forces. As a result, the area has been sealed, and more forces have been deployed there. At the same time, security forces have urged locals to remain indoors and avoid moving around the encounter site.
