Let us dive deeper into the infrastructure basics, the brands, and a lot more things about the recently opened Jio World Plaza.
Located at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai, the mall is open to both common audiences and VIP personalities. Encompassing an impressive 750,000 square feet, Jio World Plaza has 66 internationally renowned brands. The largest international architectural and design firm in the world, TVS, along with the Reliance team, have contributed to the mall’s design and construction. Jio World Plaza offers a plethora of services, such as wedding planning, porter services, VIP concierge, and a large assortment of premium goods to satisfy every need.
Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, Valentino, Dior, Balenciaga, Rolex, Bottega Veneta, Cartier, Bulgari, Jimmy Choo, and many more are among the leading global brands that were represented at this grand opening. Tiffany & Co., Versace, Bulgari, and Pottery Barn, among others, have launched their first stores in India in the mall. The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, Jio World Convention Centre, and Jio World Garden are all located on this plaza.
Currently, there are four luxury-only malls in India: Phoenix Palladium in Mumbai, UB City in Bengaluru, DLF Emporio and The Chanakya in New Delhi. More than 20 luxury brand flagship stores will be housed in this new opulent retail haven, with the majority of the names being introduced for the first time in the country.
If it is luxurious, then it will come at a premium cost. Similarly, Louis Vuitton would pay Rs 40.50 lakh per month for its store, while Dior will pay a substantial Rs 21.56 lakh for a 3,317 sq ft area. Furthermore, it is reported that the premium labels will contribute 4% to 12% of their entire sales to Reliance.
The interior of Jio World Plaza is lavishly attractive and exudes luxury. Due to its complex, meandering architecture and exquisite pillar carvings, the Plaza's design has a lot of golden accents, inspired by the lotus flower. A US-based design company and the Reliance team collaborated to construct the building's framework. Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Jimmy Choo, Balenciaga, Burberry, Tory Burch, Jaeger Le-Coultre, IWC, Panerai, Rimowa, Dior, YSL, and Cartier will be available on Level 1 of the cutting-edge retail paradise.
