Who is Kavya Trehan?

An artist with many talents, Kavya Trehan is an actor, singer, and composer working primarily in Hindi film and OTT shows. Born and brought up in New Delhi, Trehan made her stage debut at the tender age of 9 and never looked back. She honed her acting skills at the National School of Drama while she stayed focused on her academics, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi.

She was a part of many theater shows and public productions during her college days adding to her artisting talents of acting. 

Acting Debut 

Trehan debuted on the silver screen in 2015 with Ishaan Nair’s first feature film ‘Kaash – If Only’. The film gained national and international attention with its premieres at the Tokyo International Film Festival, MAMI at Mumbai and film festival in New York. 

Following her film debut, Trehan took bold and exciting roles on the OTT. She was a part of Prime Video’s show ‘Hush Hush’ and featured in Lionsgate Play’s ‘Jugaadistan.’ 

Gradually cementing her position on OTT, Trehan was most recently a part of Netflix’s ‘The Royals.’

Other Talents 

Though acting remains her most popular talent thanks to the fame of OTT streaming, Trehan is also a singer and composer and a part of indie-pop duo Mosko.

She is classically trained in violin and also plays the drums. Her performing journey began at 14 with several performances to her credit.
